Be@rbrick was first released in 2001 by Medicom Toy in Tokyo, Japan, and is now one of the most collected designer toys in the world.

Originally previewed around this time last year, Medicom Toy finally announces an exact release date for the latest colorway in the toymaker’s My First Bearbrick Baby series. Taking on a black and silver colorway, the design follows a concept developed by Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama, featuring a black body, clear midsection, and silver detailing. A release is set for September 4th, 2010 via Isetan Shinjuku.
